have this stupid hiss from recording and noise gates just aren't really cutting it? add a compressor and set the threshold to something low like -50 or -60 dB and the compression ratio to something below 1.0:1 (i usually do something around 0.8:1) not all compressors work below 1:1 compression though. play around those variables, i've gotten good results from it! - timbot |
