sysedit recommends:

Tired of samples getting cut off by other samples in Maltide Tracker? Tired of using eight tracks to fit in all your samples? Right click, go to attributes, and set "enable virtual channels" to "1". This will enable virtual channles within MT, allowing your samples to finish despite any other samples in the track. - sysedit

  BUZZ PROBLEMS (AND THEIR SOLUTIONS)

A lot of people are experiencing problems running Buzz under Windows 2000/Windwos XP/Windows Vista. Here are some tips to let Buzz run smoother on these platforms.

Windows 2000

The most common problem on the 2000 platform is that Buzz crashes when you start it. This is because of some corrupt machines. Here is a little solution for that:
First move all the Generators from the /Gear/Generators/ directory. Then restart Buzz. If it starts well, you know it's some Gen that is ruin the party. If not, it's some effect. Then move all the machines from the Gen or Eff directory that start with A to M. If buzz runs smooth, you know it's a machine in the range of A-M. Now continue this till you've found the buggin' machine and distroy it. You need some time for this, but I think Buzz makes things up very well :)

When you run the installation of Buzz, make sure you have checked the DMO support in the installer. Also don't foget to install DirectX 8.0. Get it from Microsoft.com

Another solution if Buzz fails to start on Windows 2000:

go to run on the start menu and type the following: regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll

Then right click on buzz.exe and select compatibility and select NT 4.0 or Win 95. This should allow buzz to run fine without going through all the machines individually. Thanks to Liam Spence a.k.a Supafunk for this solution!

Windows XP

- Go into the Jeskola Buzz directory
- Find the buzz.exe file and right click it
- Go to properties tag and click on the compatibility tab
- Then make sure it is under WINDOWS NT 4.0 compatibility. The program will then run perfectly.
