cant comment on stability, have not used it very much so far, but the very bit of time, it did not crash on me... :)
i think this goes into heavy artillery in terms of impact... :)

| I've used the original Transient in nearly every song I've made since it was first released, and I am even more happy with this. I instantly noticed V2 used about half the CPU that V1 used, which I think is a great improvement for old PC and netbook users. I like the additional controls, always good to have something new on a familiar sound.
If you're a Transient user, stop reading this and upgrade, it's worth it!
