| This is the essential machine for me. A good bmx song can consist of a few matilde trackers and NOTHING more. |

| Altough this may have sentimental value I find Fuzzpilz utracker or BTDsys Sample Grid leave this machine for dead... obsolete... The windows 3.1 of trackers. |

| Samplegrid is great for drum sounds but Matilde Tracker is best for the majority of general applications (i.e., all other instruments) not to metion the pitch-stretching, note delay/cut, vibrato, portamento, noteslide up/down, etc effects, and enormous polyphony. In fact, Matilde was the first buzz machine I ever used, and I fell in love with her. :)
Anyway, we are engaged to be married soon. But I am planning to cheat on her with a new tracker called "Unwieldy Tracker" or something to that effect. I heard this new plugin is even better with timestretching (I'm assuming that means no pitch-change when changing the tempo) and some other cool features. |
