At least on my setup with the pooplog fast pwm, if "off" is used in the pattern editor note column, the machine crashes. What I do to cut-off notes instead is to replace "off" with "E-0" (for example) because that octave is too low to hear (for me it is anyway). If there's a good reason why this shouldn't be done or if you have a better solution, by all means let me know.
