deadworm222: I have Win98, SB128 soundcard. No errors, but when I press play, it freezes (yes, I have loaded all the machines separately). |

Stereo_Wind: Oh, and I forgot one more thing: changing view step in sequence editor doesn't change anything in 'set view step' menu. :) sorry for my english :-] |
2004-04-09 |
|
|
Stereo_Wind: I can't get any sound out of it. I load 909, then load saturator, then go into sequence editor and set begin and end of the loop. then I press F5 and..nothing. even this line in sequence do not move...win 98. sblive. |

hotkey: Windows Wave Out re-implemented again... Calm down, everyone ;) [but get an ASIO card anyway! It's worth every MilliSecond errrr..... Euro] |

|
slowandlow: I take it back - I'm a klutz. ASIO4ALL is my shepherd and I shall want no longer. |
2004-04-01 |
|
slowandlow: ASIO - I'm a bit worried. I previously tried to get ASIO4ALL working with buzz but gave up after many blue screens (WIN2000).

|
moon.god: Hotkey: If you are online in ICQ anyway, you *really* should join #buzz and maybe even #phatbuzz (German Buzz chan) on EFnet as there are lotsa devs. Those devs are there not at least because the chan is very suitable for constructive betatesting. |
2004-03-31 |
|
hotkey: Yeah... It's enough for now... I got so much emails and ICQ-IMs.... phew!
Thanx for your help so much,Alpha-testers!
ASIO support is about to be implemented. Don't panic: I personally don't own a ASIO-capable soundcard, but using ASIO4ALL (83kb!) everyone can get have the enjoyment of unbelievable low-latency.
ASIO4ALL will be included in Buzzle. Thanx to "Wuschel" ;)

hotkey: Now if nothing helps with the Sound-Shuttering, just increase the Sound Buffer (it is set to "very short" as default [optimal for 2.5GHz+ har har har...] - the beep shows you how long one sound buffer is.) |

|
mva: Dimage: mail hotkey for the key. You missed the alpha signup window I think. |

dimage: I cannot download it. where do i get the pin? |

surya: Faster indeed, but sound still stutters VERY SHORTLY sometimes, when I change patterns (1.1GHz Athlon) |

hotkey: People who donated may ask nicely if they may still register... ;)
Hey guys!
Version 0.00 R54 just released: PATTERN EDITOR GOR FASTER!!!
(refreshPattern now shows 0-15ms instead of 125-175ms per refresh on my P4... Sound promising, heh?)
Come get your R54's, guys!

flos: Release 53 starts!!! I start to load the first generators in alphabetical order, and ... they launch exceptions continously (overloading cpu, of course)! Is what HotKey means for "crash"? |
2004-03-29 |
|
|
slowandlow: It's now working great here. Hotkey deserves a medal for getting this far - he may be about to save our lives. |

mute: Soma: since you were a donator, send hotkey an email & let him know you missed the signup window. |
2004-03-29 |

|
surya: Still needs a lot of work (DUH! It's an alpha!) but it realy has potential!!! |
2004-03-29 |
|
|
soma: Looks like I missed the alpha window (even though I contributed funds). Can't wait for the beta! Go get all those bugs guys.... |

mute: Thnx for the update

hotkey: Hi!
1.) "waveOut open fail" (and some insulting words ;) ) pops up at a lot of systems using a Creative Soundcard. But: Cool down, I'll implement the DirectX/ASIO output soon!
2.) BUZZle crashing at startup should be fixed by now (R52). There were problems with the MIDI-in initialization
3.) subject "I cannot hear anything except metronome": I think we finally ALL figured out the "Right click machine and Load-Machine-DLL" thingie.... Just RTFM, because BUZZle tells you on startup...!
So, all you Alpha-testers: Get your newest alpha's frequently - It just turned R52 with LOTS of improvements. Still working on speeding up the pattern editor, tho....
Greeeeeeetz!

deadworm222: For me it says "cannot open output device" and "cannot open input device" and then loads of other errors that are connected to this problem, like can't creat buffers or something. I have Win98, SB128 soundcard. Otherwise it works, but there's just no sound... |

|
buzzworker: Working here, but with some "clips" even with the app runing on "realtime" mode
on the Win taskmanager.
but some tabs of the app "clip" less, when i change from one tab to another.
i think there is memory problem, when i move a machine, it gets more clips, and glitch.
but maybe its my computer's father, AMD 1800, creative audigy, 256 ram
Buzzle works better on my intel 1800+ 512 ram, creative extigy, it does less clips.
Still, great great job already, keep it Burning.. :)

mute: Too early for a forum. alpha = pre-user beta testing... just simple reporting like whats missing or what to add or change or really insane crashes. check the buzzle alpha threads on the msg board. |

ekral: Hi Hotkey its very promising and I like it, I have lot of think to tell, I I know you know that patern view is too slow, and I miss one thing: parameters view like in buzz, but the idea how do you did it know is also great.
It seem there you made a really good job, but as I see there is a lot of work to do. Please make a team of coders who will work together with you. It could help you a lot and there is full of good skilled developers on the scene. And you could also open some some code for public (like piano roll, wave editor, ... )
Have a nice day and thanks again for great work, these time I am looking very day for news from you :)

witiza: Using WXP-Pro and it sounds alrigtht. At first I couldn't get any sound but then I read magmavander's comment and got it: first load the song, then go to machine view, right-click each machine and in the context menu select "load machine DLL", and if you're looky it will load the dll. When your've finished with all machines, click the play button, and voila.
Thanks hotkey!!!

|
magmavander: Ok ! ok ! I'm a little stupid :)
If you see your machines in the machines view, that doesn't means they are loaded.
So, as **indicated**, you have to right-click on the machine and load every dll manually. And, YES, it produces SOUND !! Wow ! wow ! wow !!
Now I'm keeping some money to send to this project =;o) |

magmavander: I have tried to create a bmx with the machines that are working with BUZZle (as indicated by hotkey). I put an ers kick, an ers snare and a arguelles kSynth. Save the song in buzz and load it in BUZZle. No luck, there is no sound at all.
WinXPPro, 196 megs of ram and a f...king integrated to the motherboard audio chipset. |
