| Your drum track is more important than you think! I notice a lot of drum tracks are boring and bland. To spice them up a bit, create dynamics by varying the volume levels of each beat or tick in a pattern for every piece of the kit (Snare, Kick, Cymbals, etc...). Also use a few different sounds for each of these (2 or 3 different snare sounds, etc...). By spending a little more time on your drum tracks you'll create a more enjoyable, realistic sound. - djmin |
