a pattern, used in thousands of trance songs, has the following form(n-note, .-empty[no note]):
0 n
1 .
2 n
3 n
4 n
5 .
6 n
7 n
8 n
9 .
10 n
11 n
12 n
13 .
14 n
15 n
(x.xxx.xxx.xxx.xx)
you can use it either for the bassline or synthie-arpeggios or even for the hihats.

often 'radio-trance'uses the following form for the bass(example with note c):
0 c3
1 .
2 c4
3 c4
4 c3
5 .
6 c4
7 c4
8 c3
9 .
10 c4
11 c4
12 c3
13 .
14 c4
15 c4
(x...x...x...x...)
(..xx..xx..xx..xx

Nice review. This is how all reviews should be. Thouroughly explained. The song is nice too. 2004-04-28 by Xenobi0z (Voted 10 for this review!)

Nice sounds you made here with the Whitenoise's syn. 2004-04-30 by constellation x (Voted 8 for this review!)

THIS IS NOT TRANCE

These patterns are mid-nineties eurodance (especially that bassline.. reminds of Ice MC, Corona, some Fun Factory, some Alexia) :P but still cool review for eurodance

Radio trance basslines vary nowadays, but they're not what your pattern up there says. Yeah that would be a eurodance bassline in 1995, but not anymore, although your hi-hat setup is still used in trance today.

Most common radio trance bassline (4TPB example):
...
...
note
...
...
...
note
...
...
...
note
...
...
...
note
...

That's the common 8th note upbeat bassline used in radio Epic Trance and Nu Italo Disco, Happy Hardcore, and Trancecore. There's also a variation of that which Lasgo most commonly uses which adds a 16th note after every "note" there, which is like your 90s bassline but without the C3.

BMX
was a pretty tune.. NOT trance again :P... would make a nice new wave track given some tinny disco drums. Nice use of the synths.  2004-05-01 by quartz76 (Voted 6 for this review!)
