Did you ever think of how to record your btdsys-livejump-sessions in a
non destructive way? Have you ever wish having a master sequncer track?
Here's one solution:
1st: Add Livejump to your song (The buzz containing your song becomes Slavebuzz)
2nd: Open another instance of buzz (This is your master-buzz from now on).
Choose zephod miditracker from the index.
Set the Midi Device of Zephod's Miditracker to: Midiyoke1
(This must be the midiconnection your Slavebuzz is connected to)
3rd: Make some connections (always good ;)
a) MidiMasterkeyboard -> Masterbuzz-Midi in
b) Masterbuzz-MidiOut -> Midiyoke1 -> Slavebuzz-MidiIN
4th: Assign some nice songpositions to some keys of your keyboard (in LiveJump)
5th: Hit Record in your Masterbuzz-Instance and Jam around.
Hit Play in your Slavebuzz-Instance
Zephod Miditracker will record evrything, and you can manipulate the song structure
afterwards easily Isn't this fine?
BtW: You can do this with every other midi-sequencer too, of course but I prefered a
Maybe it's possible to sync both instance by using MSync and VMidi-Out without
using an external midiclock-generator.
Which signal has VMidiOut to send to be understood by msync?
Does anybody know?
