Just some time-savers that should be added...
First of all, it'd be nice if there was a quicker way to highlight in the pattern editor so you don't have to hold down the arrow key for ages.. I tried to hold Shift and use PgUp/PgDn, but they don't seem to work?? You can't even scroll and click to where you want to highlight to. :( How about highlighting entirely with the mouse as you would in, say, a word processor?
Second, it would be nice to be able to "invert" the highlighted selection. An example of where I need this to save time is where I want a drum beat to build up in volume.. I've found that using Ctrl-I builds up the volume far too fast (I guess it's not linear).. So what I've had to do is make the volume DECREASE using Ctrl-I and then manually reverse the whole sequence of numbers.. :(

2001-10-31: why not input it by hand? or do a live record of you moving teh slider? also...with your pg up pg down situation that is possible as long as u hold down shift but it works if u highlight the first thing and then scroll down with your mouse and go to the one right before the last tick and then click and press down twice and it will infact highlight everything without u having to scroll down arrow-wise for ages. by
2001-11-01: Go to the top of what you want selected, hit CTRL-B. Go to the bottom and hit CTRL-E. It's selected. If you hit CTRL-E again, it'll select the track, then the pattern. by rymix
2001-11-01: Thanx for the tips guys. :) I guess I'm just a bit picky when it comes to user-friendliness.. Sorry. :P Well at least the latest version of Buzz is an improvement on the old one (you couldn't even click to where you wanted to edit, and octave numbers couldn't be typed in!). by LivingShadow

compared to old trackers..the more hotkeys the better..like select entire column..
