Have a basic gui librarian where you can label controller wheels or something with CC numbers and descriptions. There will be *heaps* for some synths/samplers, and few for others, so this has to be fully configurable so each person can tweak their own CC numbers.
For each, give them a position in the track view, so each CC can be changed as the buzz tune plays. The CC numbers/Labels need to be able to be saved, and even Patches (groups and series' of CC assignments all uploaded together) could be stored also, and could be requested (a huge list of all CCs) from the Midi device, so you can have patches/information flowing to the buzz machine as well as from it. This is the librarian component.
This would be a brilliant tool to have, something assimilar to Z-tracker, but as a machine in buzz. The MIDIgator or something, call it what you will.
The machine could also have other outs so you can link controller data which is going to a Midi device to other components within the song, for shaped envelopes, midi clock/tempo, etc.. so you can sync your other buzz machines to the midi device, be it a synth, sampler, drum machine, or whatever.
