Filter-morph-thing?
I don't know if it's possible but how about a filter that have all the 'normal' properties of a filter but can go from, say a the lowest freq. of a lowpass to the highest freq. of a highpass in one smooth drag of a slider?
Maybe three different parameters (A,B,C) where you can assign what type of filter you want on the different places on this little 'filter-chain'.
Inertia is a must-have!
I don't know if any of this makes any sense...

2001-11-01: i makes perfect sense. you are a moron. its called BANDPASS and it is very sweet. Try Dex FiltahII for example. but try other filters too. Also this would have to be in the EFFECT wishlist because its not a GENERATOR wish. and who voted this a 10? You are both morons by clatter
2001-11-01: he means a liquid morphing from lowpass to highpass, troglodyte. by renniac
2001-11-01: I didn't mean to post it on the generators part of the list, that was a mistake and I apologize.. I know what a bandpass filter is and thats besides the point... I want a "filter-chain" where the filters morph in to one another.. by robknob
2001-11-08: how about using two filter one after another? One lowpass and the other highpass. Of course its not only ONE machine, but that, as someone told me and I quote, "...totally destroys the idea behind a modular program like buzz." by meanman
2001-11-11: You might try using something like the Sid filter where you have a lowpass, highpass, and bandpass in parallel. When you talk about filters morphing, you have to ask yourself how you want them to morph. Moving the frequency band of the lowpass up to a high pass is just a bandpass. On the other hand, crossfading two curves is just a matter of running parallel filters and crossfading between them. If you have another idea from this in mind, I'm not sure what it would be. Perhaps you could explain it more clearly. by lykwydchykyn
