Hows about a machine where you put in one chord using sampled guitar, and using triggers, it makes it sound like a live guitar strumming by slightly (probably randomly) altering the volume, timing etc., to give it a more 'human' feel.

2002-08-23: try using peer chord with arpeggio settings and stuff. maybe use it with a good guitar soundfont? tho like u said with random variation it might sound a little more "human". or even better, get a guitar :-) by lee_dc
2002-08-23: Yeah, sure you can get a guitar and strum along, but its a lot easier to retain the advantages of sampling without losing the 'human sound'. I use guitar chords sampled by myself at the moment by Maff83
